RoboCop movie

RoboCop (1987) is violent, obscene and sexy. The introduction of our Peter Weller-cast main character RoboCop (1987) took less than 20 mins. He is then brutally blown apart and murdered by a bunch of criminals. A vehicle explodes after the character has been wounded by poisonous materials. The car then kills the character. This violence isn’t gratuitous, however, as it interrelates with the story and subject. RoboCop envisions a future Detroit in which crime is rampant and police are unable bring order. A megacorporation has "partners" in law enforcement, using the crisis as an opportunity to create and (Robocop review) sell new military equipment. The business will make it easy to clean the streets and open the door for the development a new, more luxurious part of the city.
